The first Rebox was developed by Ing. Petr Slovak, Ph.D. in 1980. This model was REBOX I. It was patented in Czechoslovakia (since 1993 Czech Republic) in 1982, other patents were submitted in the USA, Japan, UK and Spain before 1985. The rest of Europe was patent covered by 1990.
In 1982, clinical tests were launched. REBOX I hadn't been produced for commercial purposes, only for clinical tests. 
REBOX I (1980 - 1985)
In 1985, Rebox license was sold to the Pebleheats Ltd. company in the UK. This company changed its name to Rebox UK and started producing the REBOX II model. This license was cancelled in 1990 due to unpaid royalty fees by the REBOX UK.
Thanks to the changing economic conditions in Czechoslovakia at that time, the Rebox Prague company could be founded in the year 1990. The company started producing the Rebox-Physio A model. This model was improved several times, especially its electronics.
Rebox-Physio A (1990-2009)
In 2009 the company transformed to the Rebox Therapy Ltd.
The company continues with progress. In 2010, brand new models of Rebox-Physio (Classic & USB) with modern design, digital display, Transcranial mode & other new features, were introduced to a worldwide market.
